Master of Library & Information Studies

My excellent research skills, love of literature, and urge to help people led me to the Librarian field. I graduated from the University of Toronto in 2007 with an MLIS.

No Stone Unturned

Self-Employed Editor and Researcher

I founded my own editing business, where I provided editing and proofreading services for clients preparing to publish their work.

My projects included assisting a student with her Master's thesis, editing an Australian coffee table book, and heavy editing of a non-fiction book on Africa.

Librarian

I worked at various branches of the Toronto Public Library system, where I was both a children's and adult librarian. I conducted numerous courses for adult patrons, enriching their learning experiences.

Museum of Arts in Museum Studies

I earned my Master's degree in Museum Studies through a distance learning program at the University of Leicester in England. Unfortunately, I graduated during the COVID-19 quarantine, which limited my opportunities to utilise my degree.

Content Article Writer

I worked as a Freelance Content Writer for Pangolia for nearly four years. During this time, I specialised in writing about pets, conducted extensive research, and consistently produced at least seven articles weekly.

I worked at one of the largest branches, which happened to be shaped like a pyramid!

Youth Services Librarian

I worked as the Youth Services Librarian at Calgary Public Library for three years.

Back to My First Love

After being laid off from my writing job, I decided my heart was still in libraries, museums, and archives. So back to the drawing board!.

Resume Stuff

My diverse background gives me a unique perspective and the ability to connect with a wide range of audiences—an asset in creating inclusive, engaging library, museum, and archival experiences.
